Number 8 Turquoise stabilized "cuttings"

This is 69.4 grams (346.95 carats) of cuttings left over from cabbing. There is still much value for those interested in inlay and intarsia work. A few of the pieces are large enough for small rings or earrings. All pieces are from professionally stabilized stock.

Number Eight turquoise is a highly prized variety of Nevada turquoise whose availability is limited because it has not been mined since the 1970s. Specimens generally feature soft blue turquoise in a spiderweb pattern popping out from a brown matrix.  

Turquoise is related to the Throat Chakra and is the December Birthstone.
