Number 8 Turquoise Cabochon

Beautiful robin's egg blue webbed turquoise set in a soft brown matrix. It has a low top dome, side girdle and polished back. It is epoxy backed and has been professionally stabilized to provide strength and durability. It is not dyed or color enhanced. It weighs 4.44 grams (22.20 carats) and measures 23 x 17 x 7mm.

Number Eight turquoise is a highly prized variety of Nevada turquoise whose availability is limited because it has not been mined since the 1970s. Specimens generally feature soft blue turquoise in a spiderweb pattern popping out from a brown matrix.

Metaphysically, Turquoise is related to the Throat Chakra and is the December Birthstone.
