Number 8 Turquoise Cabochon

This is a small, beautiful oval shaped cabochon weighing 2.79 grams and measuring 19 x 17 x 4mm, with a low top dome and side girdle-ready to be set-will make a stunning pendant. This cabochon has been professionally stabilized to provide strength and durability. It is not dyed or color enhanced. 
Number Eight turquoise is a highly prized variety of Nevada turquoise whose availability is limited because it has not been mined since the 1970s. Specimens generally feature soft blue turquoise in a spiderweb pattern popping out from a brown matrix.
Turquoise is the December Birthstone. It has a soothing, calming effect and is associated with the Throat Chakra.
