Rocky Butte Picture Jasper Pendant with chain

"Nighttime sky in the desert" is the scene that comes to mind in this beautiful Rocky Butte jasper cabochon. It has been set as a pendant in a weathered copper base. There is a natural fracture in the stone that could be thought of as a meteor streaking across the sky. Because the stone is set in a copper backing, the fracture should be stable. The matching copper chain is 18" in length.
