Oval Pietersite Cabochon

This stunning specimen weighs 4.29 grams (21.45 carats)  and measures 34 x 14 x 5mm, has a low top dome and a side girdle and will be a "statement" pendant. Note there is a very small white pit along one edge.
Pietersite from Namibia is a pseudomorph variety of Quartz and is highly valued for its chatoyance, play of light and movement. Multiple colors, such as blues, golds, browns and reds, streak and swirl through the stone. Metaphysically, it is referred to as the “Tempest Stone” and is associated with the Third Eye and Solar Plexus Chakras.
